Name: Uzumaki Naruto
Age: 15
Rank: Genin
Clan: N/a
Gender: Male

Physical Appearance:
Personality:
Happy, very cheerful, always looks at it from the "Glass is half full" point of view, never really depressed unless friends are hurt or is reminded of his past, and even when he is reminded of his past in the academy and how a lot of people don’t accept him, he still rises from depression and defeat, and channels it to make himself a better person. Naruto is very goal oriented, seeing as he strives to become Hokage someday.
Even at times when everything is tough, Naruto has overcome his obstacles; He always viewed these as handicaps not obstacles to overcome, his determination and pride were perhaps too great for him to understand what he was truly up against.
Naruto is very self-reliant; He tries to rely on himself as much as possible, though he learns that in a ninja squad that is not the way to go, he is always looking to stand out from the rest of the team. Perhaps this is from his determination to be recognized, or just plain foolishness. Naruto also has a knack for pranks, he plays them on people a lot, this is also a result of the neglect and want fro recognition.
Perhaps Naruto is really just a really just a hated, mistreated child that most people will just think is annoying or a no body. He constantly strives to make himself noticed, though his thoughts may be clouded sometimes, he will always have that goal that he always had, to become the best Hokage of them all.
Weapons:
Kunai knives: Its the standard ninja weapon, it is great for throwing as well as great for close range combat. Kunai normally have a leaf-shaped blade and a handle with a ring on the pommel for attaching a rope. This will allow for the kunai to be strapped to a stick as an expedient spear, to be tied to the body as a hidden weapon, or to use as an anchor or piton of some kind.
Shuriken: Another standard ninja weapon, this one is only meant for throwing, this is not a weapon meant to be used as a "Main Weapon," it is mainly used to be as a distraction method. It is not necessary to "stick" it into the target. When one is throwing it would spin the weapon very fast, so that it would then hit opponents' arms or legs, creating a "saw" effect.
Windmill Shuriken: It is a huge shuriken, which the user holds by the hole at the center of the weapon.
Makabishi: a type of caltrop made of iron spikes, is also famous. It could be thrown on the ground to injure a pursuer's feet or thrown out on an enemy's escape path so that the targets could be cut down or shot down with bows and arrows while they looked for another escape route, but it could also be covered with poison so the victim would die slowly. Occasionally, makibishi would be loaded with gunpowder to explode upon impact, killing the pursuer or damaging a pursuer's foot.
Exploding Tags: Tags made of a special super flammable paper. These tags have 1 sole purpose, to make the biggest explosion possible. These tags have a special kanji written on them. It is activated when a small amount of chakra is placed into the tag itself. In order for the user to fully use the tag’s capabilities he should wrap it around a kunai knife and throw it at an opponent, that is, if the tag is being used for direct combat. The tag also has another use. By placing it in small corners around a room, or on trees, or doors, or just about anywhere the user sees fit. The tags can create a trap by using a combination of metal wire, and the tags themselves. The way the combo works, is quite simple; The user would place the tag somewhere and place some wire under it as the tag stuck to it’s final resting spot. Then he would repeat combining, except linking 2 tags together. If the wire is severed, or tripped the tags would explode, thus hurting the pursuer, or enemy period.
Steel Wire: It is a strong metallic wire that has the strength of steel. The wire is flexible enough to be tied around a person tree ect. The wire is used as a method to set traps for an opponent, or as a way to easily catch an opponent , by wrapping them in the wire.

History:
Naruto's parents were a pair of skilled Chunnin, who fought to save Konohagaruke but died in battle, however other than that very little information has been disclosed about Naruto's birth or parentage. We do know that, as an infant, the spirit of the Nine-tails Demon Fox's (Kyuubi no Youko) who attacked the village of Konohagakure (Hidden Leaf), was sealed within his body through the secret Fûin Jutsu: Shiki Fûjin from the Fourth Hokage of Konoha — a selfless act which cost him his life.
The orphan Naruto experiences a traumatic youth, oblivious to the knowledge that a monster resides within him. The villagers of Konoha harbor a fierce hatred for the young child who bears the spirit of the demon who decimated the once peaceful village, in spite of the Fourth Hokage's wish that Naruto be seen as a hero who contained the Kyuubi, thus preventing it from causing further harm to the villagers. He is shunned by the fellow villagers and their children—his classmates—leaving Naruto a confused and broken child.
At school he was never the best ninja, though he was picked on, and hated, he never gave up. Through his troubles at school he met the girl of his dreams; Haruno Sakura, She was a pretty bright student, allways picked on, but he never managed to get close to her. Apart from Sakura, There was his Rival, Uchiha Sasuke, he was a skilled ninja, very popular and a favorite among teachers; though Naruto would not admit it, Sasuke was actually his idol, he wanted to be just like him.
After school Naruto did a lot of extra training, he wanted to become as strong as he possibly could so that he could reach the goal of becoming Hokage. Naruto also had an urge to beat Sasuke, his rival, though Naruto did not realize it, the reality was that he truly idolized him, Sasuke was popular, a skilled ninja, a straight A student, he was everything Naruto was not. On the other hand there was Sakura, the beautiful Sakura.... Naruto simply loved this girl! She was everything Naruto wanted, she was smart, popular, and most of all beutiful. His admiration for her beautiful face, and her perfect personality, was part of why Naruto wanted to become stronger than Sasuke, to impress Sakura.
Fortunately, Naruto befriends his compassionate ninja instructor, Umino Iruka. Though his own parents perished at the hands of the Kyubi's assault, Iruka doesn't blame Naruto for their deaths. Instead, Iruka accepts Naruto and empathizes with his desire to be accepted, and he is the first person to ever believe in Naruto. It is through Iruka's presence as Naruto's only family figure that Naruto learns to overcome his sadness.
Naruto is grouped into Team 7 and it is with these fellow ninjas that eternal bonds are made and are, unfortunately, later partly shattered.
Team 7 consists of Naruto, Haruno Sakura and Uchiha Sasuke and the Jounin instructor, Hatake Kakashi. Like a recipe for disaster, the initial group chemistry is terrible: Naruto is infatuated with Sakura but completely detests Sasuke's inherent genius; Sakura couldn't care less about Naruto and the title of "ninja" for her focus is on wooing Sasuke; Sasuke is a lone wolf with hidden agendas who detests everyone in the group; Kakashi's first impression is less than impressive as he is seemingly aloof to his duties as a Jonin. But as deceptive as a ninja tends to be, Kakashi bears an acute insight into matters that the young three have yet to see.
Kakashi's test is a simple but theoretically ruthless task: attached to his belt are two bells, which must be procured by the trainees in order for the examination to be considered a success. Kakashi easily defends himself from all three. At the end of the exercise, he points out their flaws in teamwork and says that all three don't have what it takes and will never be ninja. However, he has decided to give them a second chance, and lets Sakura and Sasuke eat so they can all try again later. However, Naruto (who is tied to a training post) is forbidden to eat because he attempted to eat without obtaining a bell earlier. Sakura and Sasuke decide to go against Kakashi's words and feed Naruto anyway, figuring that if the problem is their teamwork, Naruto would mess it up due to his lack of energy. Kakashi appears as Sakura is feeding Naruto and tells them that they pass. Team 7 thus becomes the first group that Kakashi ever passes to be Genin, as this is exactly the message he was trying to get across - "In the ninja world, those who don't follow the rules are scum - That is true, but those who abandon their friends are worse than scum." Kakashi stole this quote from his deceased friend, Uchiha Obito.
Genin normally go on D-Rank missions and occasionally C-Rank missions. Naruto insists on doing something more exciting and the Sandaime Hokage agrees to send them on a C-Rank mission to escort a client. During their mission, the team is attacked by two enemy Chunnin, something that is not supposed to happen on C-Rank missions, and Naruto panics and freezes. Sasuke, however, deals with the attackers quite efficiently. Sasuke rubs in his one-upping Naruto by calling him a "Scaredy-cat." This name-calling, which Naruto would imitate many times later in the series, is a defining moment in the Naruto-Sasuke rivalry. Team 7 also undergoes chakra training in this arc of the manga, another point of rivalry between the two ninja, as they constantly challenge themselves to try to outdo each other, but instead end up helping and motivating each other to succeed. After the event, Naruto bleeds out the poison he received by stabbing his wound with a kunai and swears upon his pain to never freeze up and leave his friends to fend for themselves again.
Naruto's "hidden power" is also revealed in a particularly ferocious battle in which he believes Sasuke has been killed (he was actually put in a temporary death like state) by Haku, Naruto loses control and is consumed by the Kyuubi's chakra. Its power is so immense that the chakra is visible, all of Naruto's wounds heal near-instantaneously, and Naruto's appearance changes; his eyes become red and slitted like a cat, his "whiskers" deepen, his fingernails grow long like claws and his canine teeth become sharper. He completely overwhelms his enemy with this power and speed. Although the power of the Kyuubi is introduced at this point, the full extent of it is not shown yet. Naruto has not communicated with the Demon Fox inside of him; he only subconsciously calls upon this power.
Even with the small amount of power Naruto used, he proved to be too powerful for Haku. Haku knew that he wouldn't stand a chance against Naruto because he was running out of Chakra and Naruto's attacks were too powerful. Haku asked Naruto to kill him, but he ran away to save Zabuza before Naruto could finish Haku off.
After Naruto witnessed what happened to Haku and Zabuza, he decided to become a ninja his own way.
A month and a few odd weeks later. It was time for the chunnin exams. Naruto was pumped up there was going to be lots of competition and he did not want to miss out. At the event he met all of his competition and was deemed part of the rookie 9. A group of Genins that consisted of Konohagaruke shinobi, wich were fresh out of the academy.
The first phase of the test, Naruto got through with luck. However the following he wasn't as lucky. The second was the Forest of Death. Here, Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke, have to get through a forest wich is incredibly dangerous, and defeat other teams for a scroll wich rivals the scroll wich they currently have in their possesion. At the end, the team managed to obtain the scroll and head to the center of the forest. Battered and bruised, they were surprised that they were to immideatly enter a preliminary round for the third phase of the chunnin exams. Before they got started, Sasuke told Naruto not to chicken out, because he wanted to fight him, however Naruto did not respond to his challange he just simply nodded in shock. Naruto got to fight one of his rivals and now close friends. Inuzuka Kiba. It was a tough fight, Kiba and Akamaru were extremely resilient and tough, still Naruto managed to counter with an improvised move, thus knocking Kiba out and continuing on to the third phase of the exam.
There was a month's passing time between phases of the exams, in wich the shinobi were reccomended to train as hard as they could so that they could master their paritcular skills, and show off to the warlords. During this time, Naruto met a very particlar man, his name Jiraya. After doing some convincing, he trained Naruto and taught him the summoning jutsu, and bound him to a contract with the frogs. Naruto did not posses full control of the Kyuubi's power at the time, and to this day he still dosen't however. Due to some "special" training that Jiraya, gave to Naruto; wich involved pushing him off a cliff and trying to survive, Naruto was able to tap into some of the Kyuubi's chakra, thus allowing him to summon Gabamunta, The Boss of Frogs. This was a Kage level feat, that was made possible by that same power that was trapped inside Naruto.
In the final phase of the exam Naruto has to fight a tough enemy, his name; Hyuga Neji. Naruto was driven to prove Neji wrong, and to show him that even dropouts can make it big. Naruto was inspired by Neji's earlier fight, wich involved him fighting his cousin from the main branch of the Hyuga family, Hinata. Naruto was able to overcome Neji's Juken, by using some of the Kyuubi's power, thus enhancing his own, and allowing him to come up with an improvised move strong enough to defeat such a strong oponent.
