Instead of lush wilderness, Kaze no Kuni boasts a vast expanse of desert littered with cacti and other organisms suited for desert life. Miles on top of miles of sand tower like mountains here and the sandstorms whip of the orange sands of this desert into an almost magical dance across the sunny skies. While burning hot during the day, temperatures quickly drop to near-freezing temperatures at night yet this does not stop the occasional bandit from taking refuge among the sandy lumps. Respect the desert and tread cautiously unless you might find yourself ripped to shreds by brutal winds and cutting sands.
