While the Land of Wind has deserts and the Land of Fire has forests and plains, the Land of Earth has an abundance of moutains. Some are flat, some are sharply peaked, and others are littered with trees and other forms of foliage, but all are mighty and all bear their own, hidden dangers. Tred carefully and try not to lose your way.

Between each mountainous summit is a stretch of land which runs rough and jagged with rocks, spikes, and canyons. Traveling it can be a hassle and takes far longer than moving over smoother ground. Bandits often take these routes in order to evade notice as it is seldom-traveled and thus it holds more dangers than the occassional stray rock.
